Why do I need to create a NBHRF account? In order to apply for funding for NBHRF programs, you need to create an account to access grant application forms. How do I modify my personal information on my account? You can do so by login into your account and use the "Edit your user profile" feature on the top right hand corner of the screen. You can also edit your account while on one of the grant application forms using the "edit" button in the personal information window. NBHRF funding programs Where can I find information on NBHRF funding programs? All funding programs are listed under the Funding Programs menu (link above). You will find each program's requirement guide by clicking on the funding program title. Application Forms How can I apply for NBHRF Funding programs? Applicants need to familiarize themselves with NBHRF funding programs by reading the information and requirements provided under Funding Programs. Before applying for funding applicants need to ensure they have read and understand the requirements. Questions can be directed to info@nbhrf.com or call 506-455-8886. To apply, login to your account and select "New Application" under the appropriate selection to access the proper form. Can I start an application form and return to it at a later time? Yes, you can save your information at any time by selecting "Save as a Draft" at the bottom of your application form, then cancel and log out (top right hand side on the NBHRF Online Forms screen). To return to your application, login and click on the edit button next to your project title. It is recommended that you log out if you plan to finish your application at a later time. If the application form has not been actively used, the system will log you out, and you will lose any new information that wasn't previously saved. It is suggested that you save as a draft frequently to ensure that your data will not be lost in case of a system log out or computer interruptions. Why am I being logged out of the application form? To ensure a level of security, after a period of inactivity on the application form the system will log you out. To return to your application, login and click on the edit button next to your project title. My institution does not have a Vice President, whose signature do I acquire to meet this signature requirement? If your institution does not have a Vice President, please enter the name of the person who has the authority to bind the institution or organization to the general conditions governing grants and awards and have them sign the "Institution (To be signed by Vice President)" box. What are CCV Attachments? See http://www.commoncv.net/index_e.html for more information on the Canadian Common CV. A completed CCV must be created (and/or updated) in the Canadian Common CV system as part of the NBHRF Grant application process. You will have the option to save your CCV as a pdf. You will have to upload your saved CCV as a document through this "Browse" button on your application. Please note that only the Canadian Common CV is accepted as part of your application, any other CV will result in an incomplete application. What are Application Details Attachments? These are the relevant attachments that are explained under the requirement section of each grant. Please note that this is also where you will load your pdf version of the application signature page that you printed to get appropriate signatures. Can I submit my application and then send documents at a later date? No. Do not submit your application without having the relevant documents uploaded; this includes all documents, even CCV's, signed signature page and any supporting letters. Once you have submitted your application you will not have the opportunity to send any additional essential documents. Can I make changes to my application after I have submitted it? No. Once you have submitted your application the "edit" feature is no longer available.
