What’s New Funding Opportunities NBHRF is pleased to announce a new partnership with The Terry Fox Research Institute of Canada with Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Award offerings for the February competitions. NBHRF Establishment Grants Application form and requirements The NBHRF Establishment Grant program has been created to attract outstanding health researchers to the province of New Brunswick by providing funding to their initiating organization to help establish independent health research programs in the province. Grants are up to $60,000 per year for up to 2 years, 50% of which may be used as a teaching release. To be eligible to apply, investigators must submit a copy of their applicable CIHR application together with CIHR notification and comments. A one page plain language summary, a one page explanation of the relevance of the project/program to health related research in New Brunswick, information on other sources of funding, a Canadian Common CV and letters of sponsorship from the initiating organization must also be submitted. There is no application deadline for this program; decisions are normally made within six weeks of submission of request. NBHRF New Investigator Grants Application form and requirements The New Investigator Grant program is intended to support researchers who are new to the health discipline in New Brunswick. There is no application deadline for this program; decisions are normally made within six weeks of submission of request.
